Dark red fruits, licorice, balsamic, and plum. Well-integrated and supple tannins, with complex aged bouquet notes. The wine is ready to drink now, but we recommend opening for a few hours or decanting ahead of serving. Age for up to 3 years.
Aged a total of 7 years (barrel-aged for two years and bottle-aged for five years to showcase the uniqueness and complexity of this rare wine)
This is a "field blend" which is a traditional method of production in Bordeaux. All three varieties from the 1/2 acre vineyard in Lititz, PA were harvested at the same time, and then co-fermented.
This is a "one-of-a-kind" rare wine. No other vintage will be produced, because the vines were removed during the winter of 2018-2019.
